Last night, I was watching program on National Geography, topic was sustainability of lion. I am not regular attendant of any TV program but few channel entice me like discovery, national geography and news channel etc. Many programs on these for entertainment or for information. But last night program was with its gravity and serious concern. It was about to existence of lion and their existence playing major role in entire biological cycle.
Few data informed by them that before 50 years there were 4 50 000 lion and today it is only 20000, What kind of deterioration in this spice we can understand. Same in the line of leopard, they were more than 5 lac before 50 years and now it about to only 70000 and this is only about to Botswana region, we dont know how much we made deterioration of ourselves if we consider our entire planet.
For me it is more painful, because once in a week i can read constant decreasing scenario of Gir Lion in my local news paper of Gujarat. Govt is worried about their location whether it is going to be shifted in MP or remain in Gujarat. But constant decrease in their statistic is more concern.
I don't want to highlight only fact about the line but we as mankind getting failure to preserve this world and its beauty gifted by god to us. I want to highlight the serious concern of ecological cycle where we are not able to help this world or we can say ourselves.
Crux of this topic if we can understand then it can be instigate to take some step towards sustainable world.
